Selwyn snowfield is in the north of the NSW Kosciuszko National Park just west of Cooma. The terrain is best suited for beginners and intermediates would just about find enough to do for a couple of days, it’s a resort that will make you look and feel like a great skier or snowboarder!
Its main focus is on families with snow play and tobogganing as important as skiing and snowboarding.
All trail lead to one spot and it would be difficult to get lost so I would feel safe letting a group of kids having the freedom to ride in a group on their own.
There is only a day lodge at Selwyn so you would need to drive each day from your Adaminaby accommodation.
- The Accommodation is substantially cheaper than the other resorts, and a family house available for $200/night
- Lift passes and lesson are cheaper
- Very family friendly
